WMDCC Takes out D7 Premiership!
Congratulations to our D7s boys who had a massive day out Saturday. In the afternoon they took on Cardiff RSL, winning their Grand Final, and that night the majority of the members were on hand to organise another WMDCC Pink BoysPink Tie Dinner on behalf of the McGrath Foundation. Full totals haven't been calculated yet for this season, but no doubt they will be looking to match the $21,500 raised at the 2017 event.
From there, celebrations went well into the morning. On the field, Cardiff RSL batted first putting up a total of 112 all out. Brad Neale was the pick of the bowlers, with 4/20 off his 7 overs. Stuart Henderson also had a good day with the ball, picking up 4/42.
In the chase, all of the boys chipped in around Roger Laffrey who hit a match winning 57* as our guys got home with 5 wickets in hand. WMDCC Presentation Night is on the 28th of April, all club members should make an effort to get along and celebrate the D7s win and some of the brilliant individual performances we've seen throughout the grades this year.
